About Anxiety

Nervous, lost, anxious, terrified, overwhelmed, always looking over your shoulder, fearful of what lies ahead. This is what it’s like to feel like a motherless child; like Hansel and Gretel lost in the woods with no breadcrumbs to guide their way. 40 million adults in America can also relate because they battle daily with anxiety. According to the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI):

“Anxiety disorders are the most common mental health concern in the United States. Approximately 8% of children and teenagers experience the negative impact of an anxiety disorder at school and at home.¬†Most people develop symptoms of anxiety disorders before age 21, and women are 60% more likely to be diagnosed with an anxiety disorder than men.”

Here’s some quick info from Anxiety¬†United about the 10 most common anxiety symptoms:

If you’re battling Anxiety you never have to feel like a motherless child; nervous, afraid, and alone. Celebrities like Kylie Jenner have also battled anxiety in their lives. Never be scared to ask for help from a medical professional.

Stop ignoring your feelings. Listen to your body. Look for the symptoms.

Love Always,
